What are Cybrary Career Paths?
Cybrary Career Paths are comprehensive training programs designed to prepare learners for the most in-demand roles in the cybersecurity workforce. Each path follows a Learn, Practice, Prove model and includes different activity types that correspond to key topics within the path’s security domain. All content aligns with key industry frameworks, such as MITRE ATT&CK, the NICE framework, and DoD 4180.
As learners progress through the path, progress is measured in real time using Experience Points (XP), which serve as a comprehensive capability score for each topic. Upon completion, learners are rewarded with a shareable digital badge via Credly.

What are Cybrary Skill Paths?
In addition to our comprehensive Career Paths, learners can also choose to focus their attention on a single topic within a Career Path. This is called a Skills Path. For example, rather than completing the entire SOC Analyst Career Path, learners can follow a Skills Path dedicated solely to Log Analysis.
Like Career Paths, Skill Paths follow a Learn, Practice, Prove model and award learners with a badge via Credly upon completion.
What is the difference between a Career Path and a Skill Path?
Career Paths include courses and labs on several skills. Skill Paths focus on one skill.
Most Skill Paths are topic-specific subsets of longer Career Paths, but we will also be adding standalone Skill Paths on advanced topics. For example, the SOC Analyst Career Path will soon be supplemented by optional Digital Forensics and Incident Response Skill Paths. Additional Skill Paths on Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, Vulnerability Analysis, and Malware Analysis are also planned.
What are Cybrary Certification Prep Paths?
Cybrary Certification Prep Paths are comprehensive training programs designed to prepare learners for the most in-demand certifications in cybersecurity. Each path follows a Learn, Practice, Prove model and includes different activity types aligned to each domain of the exam. As learners progress through the path, they will have the opportunity to assess their readiness using certification-specific Practice Exams and monitor their progress using the Readiness Tracker.

What are Cybrary Collections?
Cybrary Collections are targeted selections of content centered around a particular topic. Collections allow learners to focus your learning on a specific role or subject (e.g. Network Engineering or the OWASP Top 10). Learners will receive a certificate of completion for each course, and have the freedom to choose which content they’re most interested in learning and leave the rest.
